CONTINUING EDUCATION:
As per the guidelines set forth by the accrediting organizations, in order to receive credits for each day and your certificate for each day, you must sign in prior to the first session of the morning and remain until the conclusion of the daily program: Friday session 8 credits; Saturday session 3 credits; combined sessions 11 credits.

Psychologists:
The Help Group is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer continuing education for psychologists. This course is eligible for up to 11 hours of continuing education credits. The Help Group maintains responsibility for the program.

Continuing Medical Education (CME):
This is an activity offered in association with the Semel Institute, a CMA – accredited provider in collaboration with The Help Group.  Physicians attending this course may report up to 11 hours of Category 1 credits toward the California Medical Association’s Certification in Continuing Medical Education and the American Medical Association’s Physician’s Recognition Award.  Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he or she actually spent on the educational activity.

Speech Pathologists:
This course has been approved for up to 11 hours of continuing education credits (provider #PDP86) by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.

Social Workers and MFCC/MFT:
The Help Group is an accredited provider for continuing education credits for LCSW’s and MFCC/MFT (provider #PCE940). This course meets the qualifications for up to 11 hours of continuing education credit as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Registered Nurses:
This course has been approved for up to 11 hours of continuing education credits by the California Board of Registered Nursing (provider #13137).

Teachers:
Professional development hours are available.
