The Help Group is pleased to announce that its Village Glen School for students with social and communicative challenges, received the highest level of accreditation from The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) at both its Sherman Oaks and Culver City campus locations. WASC is the leading accrediting commission for schools in the United States, and its accreditation process “fosters excellence in elementary, secondary, and adult education by encouraging school improvement.” WASC only awards this prestigious accreditation when it recognizes that a school has met the highest level of quality instruction, and after rigorous review of the school’s mission and student learning outcomes.

“What an honor for Village Glen School to achieve this terrific outcome from the WASC accreditation process,” says Pamela Clark, Director of Autism Schools. “We earned accreditation thanks to the incredible team of administrators, teachers, support staff and parents – all working collectively to create and deliver the highest level of academic excellence for the students.”

WASC is an ongoing process and Village Glen aims to maintain its high academic standards. “Our primary goal is to enable young people to reach their fullest academic potential, and to continue on to reach post-secondary educational goals,” Clark says.
