The Help Group held its annual Holiday Carnival on December 10, making the season extra special for hundreds of children and their families served by The Help Group’s Family-Centered Support Programs, Mental and Clinical Programs and Residential Services.

Guests this year enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of carnival games, rides, food, arts and crafts, face painting and a visit with Santa Claus. Thanks to the generosity of our major sponsors The Zenith, Hasbro, Anthony & Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, Firestone Family, Keyes Automotive, Lasky Family, Monkarsh Family, Nu Color Printing and the Ruggeiri Family, The Help Group’s Sherman Oaks Campus became an enchanted winter wonderland for the benefit of families from economically disadvantaged circumstances.

“The Holiday Carnival is such a wonderful day for the families served by The Help Group,” said Dr. Firestone. “Our heartfelt thanks to all our sponsors, volunteers and staff for making this event such a special experience for the children and their families.”

Hasbro continued their longtime tradition of donating toys so that every child could take home a present. Returning this year was also a clothing area where families were able to fills bags with donated clothing, including warm winter coats and shoes.
