Learn from the experts at The Help Group how to design a quality distance learning program. The Help Group has a long-standing history of offering innovative programming in the field of special education, autism services, mental health treatment, family support and training throughout Southern California. With the onset of COVID-19, the schools and programs of The Help Group harnessed this expertise and quickly pivoted to distance learning and remote services. Transitioning its education, clinical and enrichment programs to a virtual platform was challenging and exciting. There were no evidence-based models for offering specialized day school classes, after-school enrichment, and life skills coaching virtually. In the process, many lessons were learned. Hear from the experts how they created a successful model for distance learning and remote services for this unique population, hear about its successes including reaching children in more than a dozen states outside of California, and become informed about the long-term implications they forecast this model will have in serving young people with special needs. This is a free webinar and is open to parents, educators, mental health professionals, and the general public. All are welcome. Quality Distance Learning for Students with Special Needs- Free Webinar
