Meet Grace, a talented artist and dedicated student living at Project 6 (P6), part of the NHP community. Grace’s journey has not been without challenges, but P6 and NHP became sanctuaries for her during her teenage years, providing a safe space where she could grow both emotionally and creatively. Through the support of the THG schools and programs, Grace found her passion for art, using it as a powerful form of self-expression and healing.
Grace’s impact extends beyond the classroom. She delivered a heartfelt speech at last year’s Teddy Bear Golf Tournament, sharing her experiences and gratitude. Her artistic talents were also recognized at the Festival of Arts this past April, where she was proudly featured as one of the artists. Her teachers and mentors at P6 have watched her develop into a confident, driven individual who continues to shine.
Grace’s story is a testament to the transformative power of consistent care, community, and support. Through her time at P6 and NHP, she has blossomed as an artist, student, and resident, showing how therapeutic and educational programs can work together to help students like Grace thrive.
