The Help Group’s Momentum Program, a collaborative initiative with the Department of Rehabilitation, is
designed to assist work-ready individuals obtain competitive, paid employment within their local communities.
The program’s primary goal is to provide comprehensive vocational services and support to those with
identified disabilities or individuals receiving Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) services. The dedicated team
of Employment Specialists works closely with each client to assess their vocational needs, develop
personalized employment plans, and facilitate the job search and placement process.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Identified disability and/or receiving Department of Rehabilitation
- Referred by a therapist, psychologist, or social worker
- Individuals with an identified disability must be 18 years of age or older
- Highly motivated to secure competitive employment
Application Process:
Interested individuals can contact their service provider, such as DOR counselor, therapist, psychologist, or
social worker, to request a referral or contact Momentum Program regarding questions.
Services Provided:
- Vocational assessment and individualized employment planning
- Employment skills training, resume building and interview preparation
- Job placement assistance
- Vocational counseling and support
- Follow-up services to ensure job retention and success
- Personal, Vocational, Social Assessment (PVSA)
- Student Services Work Experience and Adult Work Experience
Cost of Services:
All Momentum Program services are FREE to the participants.
