Overview

Prevention & Aftercare (P&A) is a family strengthening program that aims to reduce child maltreatment by offering support to families that cater to their individual needs that is supported by Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services.

P&A works to increase a family’s Protective Factors, including social connections, knowledge of child development, concrete support, parental resilience, social and emotional competence, and economic stability.

P&A is available to all families with children under 18 years old living in the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and the Westside region of Los Angeles that are in need of support.
